What is Polynucleotide Healer?
Polynucleotide Healer is the latest addition to the skinboosters repertoire, boosting collagen production and restoring youthful skin.
Unlike other types of Hyaluronic acid-based skinboosters, Polynucleotide Healer is made of Polynucleotides (PN), derived from salmon DNA.
PN are DNA fragments that repair damaged skin cells and stimulate collagen production by increasing proliferation of fibroblasts. Studies have shown that PN extracted from salmon DNA is very safe and compatible with human skin.
It is injected in a similar fashion to Skinboosters, with a series of precise micro injections into the skin.

Treatment Experience
Prior to treatment, Dr Edwin will prescribe oral painkillers and apply a strong numbing cream for 30 minutes to reduce discomfort.
During the procedure, each injection may feel like a tiny ant bite but it is very tolerable.
After the procedure, there will be many small "mosquito bites" like bumps over the treated areas. We will apply an intensive recovery cream and assist in "massaging" these Polynucleotide "bumps" into the skin.
Dr Edwin recommends that patients continue to "massage" the bumps over the next few days. The bumps and needle marks will subside after 1 to 2 days. Bruising is rare and typically recovers after 3 to 5 days.

How many treatments do I need for Polynucleotide Healer?
For each full face treatment, Dr Edwin recommends using 2 mls of Polynucleotide Healer.
3 – 4 treatment sessions are recommended, 4 weeks between each treatment.
After, as maintenance, a single treatment can repeated once every 6 – 12 months to maintain collagen stimulation and skin improvement.
